Summary of Key Changes
We are pleased to introduce new features and improvements designed to streamline your workflow and enhance platform reliability:
New Feature Announcements
- User-specific API Key Management in myDRE Portal: We’re excited to introduce a user-friendly interface for generating and managing user-specific API keys within the myDRE portal! This feature empowers users to create, view, and delete API keys for workspaces they have access to, all while maintaining robust security and control.
- Key features:
- Self-Service API Key Management: Users can create, view, and delete API keys linked to their workspace, with each key uniquely associated with the user.
- Role-Based Permissions: Only authorized users (Privileged, Accountable, Standard, Advanced, and Data Contributor) can create, delete, or modify their own API keys. Unauthorized users are restricted from accessing API key management.
- Detailed Usage Report: We’re pleased to roll out a new report that enables Research Support members to download detailed usage reports by Cost Center in the myDRE Admin portal! This new capability provides comprehensive insights into your organization's usage and cost allocation, offering two distinct reports:
- Detailed Usage Report for the last 30 days
- Detailed Usage Report for the last calendar month
User Interface Enhancements
- Unique Workspace Name: Enhanced user experience and handling of uniqueness of Workspace names. This is being done to ensure smooth member management and prevent issues stemming from duplicate workspace names.
- Activity Logs: Enhanced in-app activity logging for all workspace-related actions, stored in the customer’s subscription for compliance.
- Member Management:
- Enhanced the members and access review tabs within a workspace to now display the member’s last access review date and for a Restricted member showing the date since the member was placed in a Restricted role. This in turn will help accountable and privileged members to make informed decisions during the access review of the workspace.
- When adding a new user, the system now alerts you if the email belongs to an active or disabled account.
- User deactivation requests listing now has an additional column to display the Zoho Ticket ID required for the user deactivation request to be processed.
- User Role Fix: Resolved an issue where changes to user roles were not consistently reflected for admin or RDP users due to Entra ID synchronization delays.
