Additional reports with regards to myDRE usage insights (e.g. users, costs, access reviews) are now available for Research Support members in admin portal.
Improvements
The Budget Amount field is now empty by default when creating a new workspace or managing budgets under the Budgets tab. This allows users to input the desired amount more conveniently.
Platform:
User portal: Autoshutdown warning on VM cards
A warning icon is now displayed on VM cards when auto-shutdown is disabled. This ensures users are aware of potential cost implications when auto shutdown is disabled.
User portal: Reduced clicks when connecting to VM through Bastion
We have reduced the number of steps when connecting to a VM through Bastion.
User portal: UI improvements on template card
- Long VM template names are now truncated with an ellipsis (…) for a cleaner display. Hovering over the name reveals the full text for better visibility.
User portal: API access key expiration date
- Workspace Accountable and Privileged Members can now see the API Access Key expiration date
- After an API Key has expired, users can easily request a new API Key directly from the portal.
We have improved the Files tab to enhance visibility and usability. Users can now see the following details without additional clicks:
- File Creation/Upload Date and the person who created/uploaded the file.
- Last Modified Date and the person who last modified the file.
User portal: Updated Headers in Data and Inbox Folders
We have updated the titles for better clarity and consistency:
- The Data folder title is now Workspace Uploads.
- The Inbox page title is now Workspace to Workspace Transfers.
These changes improve navigation and align the folder names with their intended purpose.
Admin portal: Filter Customer-Specific Workspaces in the Admin Portal
We have enhanced the Admin Portal for Research Support users who are part of multiple tenants. Now, when navigating to the Workspace, Reports, or Access Review tabs, selecting a specific customer will filter and display only the workspaces associated with that customer.
- Error messaging in user creation when using special characters or existing emails
