UMCG Template Windows-UMCG-Default-24-01 for creating Virtual Machines has been replaced by a new updated template.
The new Windows-UMCG-Default-25-08 template has the following improvements:
- Template based on Windows Server 2022
- Chocolatey GUI shortcut on Desktop
- Server Manager does not automatically start at login
- Default browser is Microsoft Edge
- Updated version of LibreOffice an VS Code
Existing VMs created with previous template, Windows-UMCG-Default-24-01, will continue to function until January 9, 2029
