Instructions for activating the Radboudumc license can be found in the ICT Self-Service portal.
- Atlas.ti 24.1.1 pre-installed
- Exception for login.atlasti.com and my.atlasti.com preset in proxy settings
The proxy setting allows for internet access ('allowlisting') based on IP address, which is necessary for Atlas.ti to work.
Setting up internet access
Atlas.ti requires allowlisting based on IP address. When using the Windows-RUMC-Atlasti template to create virtual machines in your workspace, the following steps need to be taken:
- Determine the current IP addresses for login.atlasti.com and my.atlasti.com.
On your (Windows) PC, click on the Start button and type 'cmd', then select Command Prompt
- Type nslookup login.atlasti.com and tap Enter
- Copy the IP addresses (xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx) given in the output (usually 2 different addresses)
- Do the same for my.atlasti.com (usually 3 different addresses)
- Create IP allowlisting rules for all addresses found in Step 1
- In your workspace, go to the External Access tab
- Choose IP-allowlisting
- Click on Add IP Address
Fill in the form and click on Add rule (Port number is 443)
- Repeat this for all IP addresses
- Enable all newly created rules by clicking on the Enable sliders on the right
Note that IP addresses can change. If Atlas.ti stops working, try looking up the IP addresses again and add any new addresses to the list.
