Last updated: RESOLVED
We are currently experiencing issues with Virtual Machine deletion and image creation operations. Our team has identified the problem and is actively working on a resolution.
What Happened
We've identified that VM deletion and image creation operations are currently failing in the platform. This is related to the Azure Active Directory Graph API that underlies some of the myDRE functions.
Impact
- Users are unable to delete Virtual Machines.
- VM generalization (image creation) operations are failing.
- Research Support is not able to create, delete or archive workspaces.
Other platform operations are functioning normally.
Workaround (before resolution)
If you need to delete a VM or create an image, please submit a
support ticket to myDRE. The anDREa support team will assist you with these operations while we work on a permanent solution.
Current Status
We are investigating the full scope of the issue and working on implementing the necessary updates to resolve these failures. Our team is prioritizing this issue due to its high impact.
We will update this announcement as we make progress toward a resolution. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause to your workflow.
