Week 21, 2024
Summary of Key Changes
We have introduced a new Activity Feed tab in the User Portal and Admin Portal for Research Support Team.
This feature captures logs for significant activities across the VM, Members, and Domain Allowlisting tabs. With the Activity Feed, users can now easily track and monitor critical actions within their workspace, enhancing transparency and control.
For more information about the Activity Feed and all logged events in the first version, please read more here:
Activity Feed User Portal.
Improvements
Activity Feed provides real-time insights into various actions and changes within the Workspace.
Users can see the Activity feed for basic operations in VM, members and Domain allowlisting
Impact on the existing functionality
There will be no impact on existing functionality. The update only introduces a new Activity Feed tab in the User Portal and Admin Portal, allowing users to conveniently view activity logs.
Known Issues or Behaviors
Please allow 20-25 minutes for the Activity Feed to reflect logs, particularly for new operations. This time-frame ensures the data is thoroughly processed and accurately presented.
Additional Notes
It is important to remember that accessing the Activity Feed incurs costs, since it uses the shared resources of your organization. We encourage the Accountable and Privileged Members to access the feed only when necessary. This mindful approach helps in controlling expenses and using resources wisely. To ensure efficiency and immediate relevance, it will only display logs from the last 7 days upon initial view.
