AUMC Virtual Machine Templates

AUMC Virtual Machine Templates

CURRENT TEMPLATES

As of September 2024, there is only one AUMC specific template: Windows-AUMC-CV2.

As the name suggests, this is a Microsoft Windows template, running Windows Server 2019. Besides some basic Microsoft programmes, a virtual machine deployed with this template only contains the Chocolatey software store and no other pre-installed software. Any required software can be installed through the Chocolatey software store. Please see the following article for instructions on how to use this software store: AUMC - Instructions for the use of Chocolatey (mydre.org)

If you require a Linux template, there are currently two templates available from anDREa, Andrea-Ubuntu20-Base and Andrea-Ubuntu22-Base. We recommend that you use one of these templates in that case.

OLD TEMPLATES

As there are still plenty of virtual machines running using old templates, the list below will remain in this article for the time being as a reference. Be aware though that these templates are no longer available for the creation of new virtual machines!
